Privacy notice

The Nostalgia Room, 68 Bank Street, Maidstone, is the data controller for the information collected through this website. This notice explains what we collect and why.

The mailing list

If you sign up for our weekly email we store your email address and the date you joined. We use it for one thing only: sending you a weekly note about new stock and upcoming events at the shop. We ask you to confirm your address by clicking a link before we send you anything, and every email includes a one-click unsubscribe. We never sell or share your address, and unsubscribing removes you from the list permanently.

The contact form

When you message us we store your name, email address, your message and any photo you attach, so that we can reply. Photos are kept in private storage that only the shop can see. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your question, and then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will sort it out. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie we set is the one that keeps the shop owner signed in to the admin area.
